What is the expected timeline?
The expected timeline from the start of the line drawings through to shipping should be about a month. Larger pieces may take longer and will be discussed at the time of the quote.
What does "Tri-Color" mean?
The tri-color leaf option is a color combination that focuses on one "main" color and two "accent colors". The accent colors are the two colors next to each other on the color wheel (or at least close in terms of where pink is located). So for example, Tri-Color Purple has mostly purple leaves with a few blue and pink accents.
Can I do a background other than leaves?
Right now, I'm just looking to continue the leaf pile theme with the pet portraits.
How do I pick a background color?
The background color is the color behind the leaves. It can really be any color that you want - I have an extensive library of paint colors. It can be bare wood, it can be black, it can be metallic, it can be a fun random color. Really the options are super open and I have no problem making a tiny painting to show a rough idea of what the colors will look like together.
Do you have examples of the leaf colors?
I'm working on having images of all of the leaf color options available in the Example Gallery. Right now, I have 3 full portrait examples completed and I have several photos showing some of the leaf color options.
What do you mean by "quilt pattern?"
I made quilt paintings using the leaf technique and I think they look pretty cool. I could potentially do one of these patterns behind your pet. It is more complicated than the standard piece and requires longer drying time so it may result in a longer timeline and a slightly higher price.
